We are seeking an experienced Java and Spring Boot developer with hands-on development experience to design and deliver secure, scalable, high-performing applications. This role involves working within a Scrum squad in a SAFe environment, contributing to the design and development of microservices, RESTful APIs, and databases in hybrid environments, ensuring high-quality delivery through modern development practices.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop robust and scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot
- Ensure data flows seamlessly and reliably between microservices and external third-party platforms
- Implement security measures for data in transit
- Create Low-Level Design (LLD) documents and contribute to effective data modeling
- Apply best practices in design and coding, including participating in code reviews
- Collaborate with project managers for effort estimation, progress tracking, risk management, and stakeholder reporting
- Work closely with DevOps teams to support CI/CD processes
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, QA teams and product owners across functions
- Ensure effective communication and coordination with team members and relevant departments
Experience Required
- 8-10 years of solid development using Java, working with Java (JDK 8+) and Spring Boot
- Solid integration background and skilled in RESTful APIs, microservices, ORM technologies such as JPA
- Familiar with databases including Oracle and PostgreSQL
- Exposure to event-driven architecture using Kafka
- Exposure to cloud platforms
- Understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools such as GitLab
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication abilities
- Experienced in Agile/Scrum methodologies

Responsibilities
- Design user-centric interfaces using best practices in UX and visual design
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to inform design decisions
- Create wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and high-fidelity mockups
- Ensure consistency across products through design systems and style guides
- Work closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
- Continuously improve designs based on analytics, user feedback, and usability findings
Experience Required
- Minimum 4+ years’ experience in UX/UI design for web and/or mobile applications
- Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design processes and problem-solving
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch
- Experience with user research, usability testing, and interaction design
- Understanding of responsive design, accessibility standards, and usability principles
- Familiarity with frontend technologies (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript) is advantageous
- Experience working in Agile environments
